Because it has neat graphics and up to the minute market information I keep the set tuned to CNBC during the day. Most of the time I keep the sound off because the stupidity and corporate propaganda is maddening to the extreme. Occasionally, I'll turn up something if it seems interesting or involves an individual who might have somethng valuable to offer. Today, CNBC's Erin Burnett interviewed Barney Frank for a wide ranging chat that contained most of the predictable nonsense expected from a Wall Street shill in attempting to undermine the new tax on banks relative to bonuses. Barney was practically laughing at her as he shredded this nonsense. More below...
I'm not a whiz with these links but I hope this works. Barney's interview is here:

The interview is quite interesting but you might not want to sit through 13 minutes worth of banter. Don't miss at about the 9:30 mark when Erin (China is our Friend) Burnett compares her household to federal spending and remarks typically that her house would be a "disaster" if she handled it the way the government handles fiscal matters. Frank's response is hilarious.
By the way, Burnett is one of the few CNBC talking heads that Barney will still talk to. The rest persisted in talking over him and refused to let him even answer questions to the point where he would just end the interview. Most of the other sirheads on CNBC probably realized that they would also look foolish if they let Barney actually have an uninterrupted exchange.
